HOW TO MAKE TEA (STEP BY STEP) : 2020 VERSION

Tea is always been a favourite hot beverage of people. whether it’s an occasion of family gathering or an individual needs a partner in isolation but if we talk about how to make tea than the answer may differ according to region, taste etc. but here in this article we will discuss the perfect answer to the question how to make tea.

In some parts of world tea is also known as ” CHAI ” this word has its own significance for the people who use it. Therefore in this article we will use this word ‘CHAI’ in place of tea where ever it is required.


Tea is an inevitable part of our daily lives and no matter how you drink or when you drink it. We believe that everyone should have that perfect cup of chai every single day.

Ingredients :

finely spreaded tea leaves for making tea.
loose tea powder for perfect taste.

#1: One and half cup of milk (about 250 milk)

#2: Two teaspoons of chai leaves

#3: One fourth cup of water (about 60 ml )

#4: Three teaspoons of sugar.

Directions to make tea/chai :

1.Take a saucepan and boil water in it.

2. Add sugar and tea powder in it and boil it for about 3-4 minutes on medium flame.

3. Add milk into it and boil for about 6-7 minutes on medium flame or until bubble starts to rise. You will see the change in color of it from milky shade to brown shade when it is ready.

4. Turn off the gas and strain chai in cups.

Tips according to taste :

1. If you want more creamy tea, then avoid water and use only milk. Mix milk, sugar and tea powder and boil them over low flame for 6-7 minutes.

2. If you don’t want it to be creamy than more water compared to milk.

3. You can add ginger, mint, cinnamon cardamom or crushed cloves as per your taste or one can use tea masala available in market, while preparing it for nice flavorful tea.
Taste: Sweet and Hot
Serving time:  Serve it in the morning with breakfast or in the afternoon with evening snacks.

TIPS TO MAKE A PROPER CUP OF TEA :

TIP #1: USE FRESH AND FILTERED WATER

The purpose of using fresh and filtered water is to keep it original in taste. I myself make my chai with filtered water since the better the water, the better the CHAI will taste.

TIP #2: USE LOOSE TEA POWDER

I often use loose tea because the teabags are not as good as loose teapowder.

Teapowder in teabags are the leftover broken bits, or “teadust,” which is collected after main teapowder has been processed.

TIP #3: USE OF SEVERAL SPICES

In making of CHAI several spices are used not only for enhancing the taste but also these spices have several benefits like cinnamon – Reduces the bad cholestrol levels.
